Afshin SALAMIAN

Background
Afshin Salamian is graduated from University of Geneva with a degree in law (1991) and in economics (HEC 1993). He has completed his legal training at the Tribunal of First Instance of Geneva and within a major Geneva law Firm. During his studies he has been active as a clerk to the labor court of Geneva. He was admitted to Geneva Bar in 1997. Afshin has worked as an assistant-lecturer at the University of Geneva for 6 years in contract law, commercial law and international private law, while he was also an in-house lawyer to a Geneva-based Asset Management Company. After being associate for 3 years to one of the top-ranked Geneva law firms, he founded Cramer-Salamian in 2006, and Salamian Bolsterli in 2019. Afshin was President of the Young Bar of Geneva, deputy member of the Geneva Bar Commission and a member of the several Geneva and Swiss Bar Association’s commissions.

Principal practice areas
Afshin Salamian assists private individuals and small- and midcap companies in all aspects of their corporate, contractual and administrative legal needs. He has assisted successfully several foreign entrepreneurs and/or companies in their installation in Geneva. He has a broad experience in legal questions related to trade finance, asset management and commodities trading activities. He is active at several level in art- and cinema related business. Afshin has further advised several International and national sport federations in their internal organization. He represents his clients in all above matters before state courts and in ad hoc or institutional arbitrations.
