Véronique DUBOIS-METTRAL

Background
Véronique Dubois-Mettral studied law at the University of Geneva, where she obtained a Bachelor of laws (2006), a Master in life sciences law (2008), a Ph.D in law (2014; Bellot Prize 2015; Walther Hug Prize 2016) and the Certificate of advanced studies in legal professions (2017).

She worked as a research and teaching assistant and then as a post-doctoral student at the Department of History of Law and Legal and Political Doctrines of the University of Geneva before completing her legal training with a Geneva law firm. Admitted as a lawyer to the Geneva Bar in 2019, she joined the law firm Salamian Bolsterli as an associate in March 2020.

Véronique Dubois-Mettral is a member of the Geneva Bar Association and of the Swiss Bar Association.

Principal practice areas
Her main areas of practice are contract law, in particular lease law, real estate and construction law, as well as family law (divorce, protection measures of the marital union).
